Join in the fun as Jenny Wiley Theatre presents the immensely popular Smoke on the Mountain.

It’s the summer of 1938 and the congregation of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in the hills of North Carolina is in for a special treat for its first revival. The pastor has invited the somewhat wacky Singing Sanders Family to get the spirit moving.

This musical comedy combines classic gospel tunes with sidesplitting humor.

Come join us for an old-fashioned Saturday night sing where you'll hear familiar hymns such as "I'll Fly Away", "Power In the Blood" and "Church In The Wildwood".

All performances inside the Wilkinson/Stumbo Convention Center.

Back by popular demand, The Legend of Jenny Wiley makes its return to the JWT stage after a two-year hiatus.

This true story relates the tragedies and the ultimate triumph of a heroic 18th century pioneer woman captured by Indians. Jenny's faith affords her the bravery and determination to escape brutality and the strength to rebuild her life. Legend sensitively protrays the struggles of both the early pioneers and the American Indians. Featuring an unforgettable score by Scott Bradley and lyrics by Peyton Dixon, you won't want to miss this compelling account of life, love and faith.

Broadway Kids is the culmination of a 2-week camp experience with professional directors, actors, choreographers and designers. The camp participants and the adult cast will present a collection of Broadway Favorites including songs from Annie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Follies "Broadway Baby", Les Miserables, Rent and more. This review will be perfect for the entire family.

Bram Stoker’s classic tale of terror is given new blood by JWT. For fall 2009, Jenny Wiley Theatre again partners with film director, Mickey Fisher, playwright of JWT’s wildly successful Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Frankenstein. Taken from the pages of Bram Stoker’s novel, “Dracula”, JWT brings a spine tingling production of a legendary horror story just in time for the Halloween Season. Transcending four centuries of history, see the transformation of a noble knight to a son of darkness…whose revenge has just begun.

All shows will be at the Mountain Arts Center, Prestonsburg, KY.
